By car from UK

Le Shuttle to Calais www.eurotunnel.com 

By ferry Dover-Calais www.seafrance.co.uk or www.poferries.com Dover-Boulogne www.ldlines.co.uk

- Head south from Calais or Boulogne (via St Omer) on A26/A1 to Paris (Toll is less than 20 Euro).
- Stay on Autoroute around Paris (signposted 'Nantes Bordeaux Lyon').
- From Paris, south on A10 to Orleans; A71 to Vierzon (toll is less than 20 Euro).

Alternate route from Boulogne, take autoroute N1/A28 to Rouen, then N154 (not motorway) to Evreux, Dreux, Chartres and Orleans and pick up the A10 (J14)/A71 to Vierzon

- From Vierzon, towards Limoges on A20 (toll- free), leave autoroute at junction 23 and head to Gueret on N145.
- From Gueret, use D942 to Ahun/Aubusson.

Then, from Aubusson, head south (signposted Felletin/Ussel) on D982. After Felletin, drive through the hamlets of le Tarderon and la Grattade and take the turning on the right after the signpost to Gioux. After 100m, take the left fork and follow the road for about 500m, just before a sign saying La Gioune (river) there is a track on the right between 2 houses. Follow track for about 1km through the woods.

Le Moulin de Sansonneche is at the end of the track on the left. A warm welcome will await you.

By air

From Limoges airport, take the A1000 direction Poitiers/A20.
Join the A20 and head north (Direction Chateauroux) and take J23 direction Gueret.
From Gueret use the D942 direction Aubusson and follow directions above (approx 90 minutes)

Alternate route from Limoges:
Follow ring road direction Poitiers, take A20 south towards Toulouse, depart J35 and follow signs to Feytiat and Eymoutiers, from Eymoutiers D992 to Gentioux, then signpost to Gioux, Croze. At bottom of hill , turn right. After 500m, turn right, take the left fork and follow the road for about 500m, just before a sign saying La Gioune (river) there is a track on the right between 2 houses. Follow track for about 1km through the woods

From Bergerac - Perigueux N21, Perigueux - Brive D67.
Brive towards Clermont Ferrand on A89, leave at J23 (Ussel) and drive north on D892.
Turning is on left about 18 km north of La Courtine (approx 3 hours).
